This made my day. I’m so glad the piece found its way into fiction, and even happier that it still feels completely yours: the porch, the records, the quiet attention to small rituals. The narrator choice works beautifully because it lets the tenderness stay slightly sideways, held unnamed until the end, when it is revealed through the object rather than explained. For a first fiction post, this has a lovely quiet confidence and an engine underneath that might even take the story further.

Thank you for the mention. And I’m very glad we met too.

That was very cool. I could really see a series of short stories centered around this world. There's a comfortable vibe. Zen-like. Nice job!
