My most productive time is early morning, but not at the end of the day at the beginning of the day before the sun rises

You know, I can see it. When I was in the service I remember we’d set out on our long run days early. I hated it because 1. I’m not built for running. 2. Am night owl lol. But one morning when I was dissociating on that run, I found myself really enjoying the sunrise. Seeing it in the present, at that moment, instead of a taken for granted daily assumption. I remember thinking “Well, at least barracks maintenance and PT was out of the way, and it’s looking like a lovely morning.”

Not for me in my civilian life, but I totally understand how front loading your days could make for a very satisfying sense of completion at night.

I definitely agree with you completely! I love the night and always have preferred it. Your words felt calm, like home. Night is better for so many reasons🌟 Beautifully written.
