When I got older I sometimes liked sitting up front to bs with the teachers (if they were the cool ones) or the driver. But the way back was so much fun bc of the bumps launching you up. One of the big music festivals I attend each year uses school busses to ferry people around the venue, soooo many flashbacks lol
In the morning: Very back. Individual seat. My sisters and I were the first ones to be picked up.
In the afternoon: mid back. There was a sort of unwritten hierarchy of who sat where. Middle schoolers up front, high schoolers in the back
