Closest to true Thai cuisine I have ever had is my own attempt and as you can clearly see... I am not Asain. Messes and Memories were made. I have photographic evidence. Bellies were full though, so the night ended in a success. I do love the flavor combinations though.
Mexican cuisine and Asian cuisine have a lot of crossovers actually and I am constantly experimenting.
Lol Ahh I got you. I was thinking you might have because that is Pep/Pineapple/Jalapeno is a great spicy/sweet combo which SE Asian cooking has in spades. I'm of Caribbean descent so I feel you, I got into Asian cooking via Indian cooking. Carrib curry -> Indian curry -> Asian curry.
I am less familiar with Mexican cooking beyond the usual Americanized fare and like... flan. Does it have sweet/spicy fingerprints too?
Pizza: pepperoni, jalapeno, pineapple
Gettin spicy with it, this is the way. Pep and pineapple is prolly my go to. I bet you like Thai food too?
